Methods:

Water samples were collected with a Van
Dorn Bottle or a pump. Dissolved oxygen was measured by Winkler titration.
Alkalinity was determined by acid titration to an end point of 4.8. Sulfate
measurements were made using ion chromatography. Ammonia and nitrate were
determined using flow injection colorimetric methods. Temperature measured
with a mercury thermometer. Methane was measured by gas chromatography.

Notes: Contains some under-ice data.
