Methods:

Water samples collected at designated sites and depths
in the outer lakes were analyzed on the Technicon Autoanalyzer II using Technicon methods. In addition
to the Standard series run at the beginning and end of each analysis 4 standards and a blank were run with
each tray of samples.

Particulate Phosphorus, nitrogen and carbon samples were collected on a pre-combusted 47 mm
Gelman AE filter and stored frozen until processing, Filters were then split in half and particulate
phosphorus was determined using methods of Stainton et al., (1974).

Notes: These were all samples that were run by Bill Rowe and Shane Capron
throughout the summer. Particulate phosphorus samples run by Neil Bettez in 1995
