Methods:

Water samples were collected
at depths 0,1,3,5,8,12,16 meters with a Van Dorn. Water was
filtered in the field using 47mm .045 um millipore HAE filters.
Filterd water was kept at 4C in amber bottles until being run on
an ALP chem auto analyzer using methods for Phosphorus, ammonia
and nitrate/nitrite. Due to an unsatifactory high detection
limit with the autoanalyzer ammonia chemistry was done by hand
using Standard methods.

Particulate Phosphorus, nitrogen and carbon samples were collected on a pre-combusted 47 mm
Gelman AE filter and stored frozen until processing, Filters were then split in half and particulate
phosphorus was determined using methods of Stainton et al., (1974).

Total N added to 234 lbs. Total H3Po-4 added 14.6 liters.
Additions were started 25 June 1993 and continued every three days
until July 28 1993. Additions 1-7 consisted of 29 lbs of ammonium
nitrate and 1.77 liters PO-4. Additions 8-12 consisted of 7.25 lbs of
ammonium nitrate and .44 liters PO-4. The ditribution was 2/3 in the
deep portion (north) of the lake and 1/3 in the shallow

Notes: Particulate Phosphorus samples were run in 1995 by Neil Bettez
