Geographic Description Just a kilometer or two upstream of where the Oksrukuyuk Creek crosses the Dalton highway, approximately 15 miles south of the Sag River DOT station.

Methods:

A 15 minute drift sampling technique was
used to collect drift samples at nine different stations (-550m,
-320m, -267m, -136m, 233m, 482m, 1056m, 1370m, and 1800m) with
three replicates at each station in the Oksrukuyuk Creek. Two
different dates were sampled, the same procedure was used for every
date, except that on 3-Jul-89 the 233m station was not sampled and
on 31-Jul-89, the 1800m station was not sampled. The stations are
measured relative to the future site of the new dripper.
The samples were preserved in ethanol then picked, sorted,
counted, and measured in Duluth using a digitizing pad.

Notes: There is one sample missing from this
worksheet: #2 482m from 31-July-1989.
