Methods:

Water samples collected at designated sites along the Kuparuk river were analyzed at Toolik for soluble reactive phosphate, ammonium, using manual chemistry methods listed in the LTER database protocols. Ammonium was also analyzed using a fluorometric method (Holmes et al. 1999). Nitrate/nitrite were run on a Lachat in Woods Hole.

Notes: There are two ammonium values reported in this data
file: one produced using the phenol hypochlorite (detection limit 0.1µM) and
another using the Holmes et al. method (detection limit unknown at this time).
Detection limits for SRP and Nitrate were 0.05µM and 0.08µM, respectively.
