Arctic LTER Sagavanirktok River Weather Station Data Files.

In the summer of 1990 a Campbell datalogger was placed on the Sagavanirktok River Heath site(68 degrees 46'N, 148 degrees 52'W, elevation 470 m) . This site was near the experimental plots studing the Biogeochemical Diversity in the Arctic Landscape: Element Transport and the Spread of Disturbance Effects. principal investigators G.R. From 1990 to 1993 data was only collected during the summer months (June - August). This site became year round in summer 1993 Sensors include:

Campbell Scientific, Model 207 Temperature and Relative Humidity Probe. T; MET-ONE, Wind directionand Wind speed sensor (all measured at 5 meters); Li-Cor, Pyranometer: Model LI-200SB; Li-Cor, Quantum. Model LI-190SB. Texas Electronics, Inc. Tipping Bucket Electric Rain Gauge. See Sensors for a detailed description of each sensor used. Each sensor is read every minute and averaged or totaled every hour. Soil temperatures were measured in the experimental plots using cooper-constantan thermocouple wire or soil moisture/temperature thermister.
