Increased pH in medium in barrel from around 6.5 to 7.57 with NaOH.  It was     
also noted that more algae was growing in barrel than expected, so              
increasing the ligh blocking around the barrel

It was noticed that the carbon medium pump was actually pumping at around       
0.25 mL/min instead of 0.021 mL/min due to some kind of software bug in         
the pump.  It is unknown if the pump rate was correct during the 0.1 1/d        
dilution rate, but the guess is that it was.  For now, we are leaving           
the carbon pump at 0.25 mL/min, but the pump is working correctly now
