| Methods: | Rhodamine dye was added to the Parker River Plum Island Sound Estuary on three dates: 8/4/93, 4/10/95, and 6/25/96. 1.6, 7.7, and 7.7 l of dye was added, respectively, to the estuary about 1.7 km from the dam during high tide. The dye was allowed to mix for one tidal cycle before measurement. All transects were conducted during high tide unless otherwise noted using a flourometer mounted on a boat. |
