| Abstract: |
This file contains the fish
number, recap number, species, lengths, and weights of fish
captured in lakes near the Toolik Lake LTER site during the summer
of 1991 (tagging data). Also contains information from gill-netted
fish (if any), sacrificed fish, and accidently killed fish. All dead
fish are included, and if their stomachs and otoliths were taken,
that is noted also. |

| Methods: |
The various species of fish were removed from the lakes using conventional hook and line techniques. After the fish were tagged, the species, lengths, and weights of each fish were recorded. If gillnets were used, the nets were of the "experimental" type and typically set perpindicular from shore (see the previously made available NE12MBL.PRN file). Notes: Neil, I put the site codes in the "Site" column for the locales that I new the codes for. You're going to have to make up new codes for the lakes that are still undiscovered (like E1, the Fog lakes, and the I-minus lakes, etc.). Thanks, Jason.
