Methods:

Background data was collected to compare larval grayling growth in designated control and fertilized river reaches. Approximately every ten days, larvae were collected from each section using dip nets. They were taken to the field laboratory for length (SL and TL in mm) and wet weight (g) measurements. All larvae not killed when captured were held until their guts were cleared before being weighing. At the end of the season, larvae were collected from three sites in each section.
