Organisms studied

Methods:	Several rocks with a combined surface area 0.0363 m2 were scrubbed in a plastic tub with a nylon brush to remove insects. The scrub water was then preserved in ethanol for later sorting and processing. Two samples were collected at each station for each sampling date. The stations are named by their distance (km) from the original postion of the fertilization dripper. (A "-" denotes stations upstream of the dripper). The samples were sorted, identified, counted, and measured using a digitizing pad in Duluth. Notes: All insect measurements are from larval forms unless noted otherwise. Sampling Description. None
