Estimates of travel time were made to guide the collection of physical samples. Samples were collected in borsilicate glass vials at irregular time intervals weighted to cover the rising and falling limbs more intensively than other time periods. Sample concentrations were determined on a Orion 290A multimeter with a bromide selective electrode and a reference electrode.
