RESEARCH LOCATION:
Geographic Description Kuparuk River. Solute injection was made under the Dalton highway bridge (+1.610km). Samples were collected at +2.475km and +5.550km.

TAXONOMIC COVERAGE:
Organisms studied
Methods:

The channel locations were instrumented
with Orion bromide selective electrodes to monitor instream
bromide concentrations and guide the collection of physical
samples. Physical samples were collected at irregular time
intervals weighted to cover the rising and falling limbs more
intensively than other time periods. Upon return, the physical
samples were analyzed by HPLC on a Dionex AS4A Anion column with
detection of 10 ug/L. The table below contains the solute
injection parameters.
Injection Start: 0 minutes
Injection End: 353 minutes
Stock Concentration: 439874.85 mg/L
Injection Rate: 401 mL/min

Notes: There was a loss of power to the injecting pump mid-way through
the addition.
All distances are relative to the established river markings.
