| Methods: |
Estimates of travel time were made to guide the collection of physical samples. Samples were collected in 13 mm diameter borsilicate glass vials at irregular time intervals weighted to cover the rising and falling limbs more intensively than other time periods. Sample concentrations were read on a Turner Designs AU-10 field fluorometer. The table below contains the solute injection parameters. Injection Start: 17:00, July 12 Injection End: 08:30, July 15 Stock Concentration: 1130000 mg/L Injection Rate: 12.017 mL/min Notes: The variable, D/D for River distance is in reference to the distances established for the 15N addition.
