| Methods: | Sampling Description: Triplicate 10cmx10cm subplots are clipped from control plots to within 1 cm of the sediment surface each month and transported in labelled bags to the laboratory. Samples are collected monthly from May through October. Lab processing: Plants from each bag are divided first into live or dead plants. The live plants are then divided by species. All plants are dried at 60°C, weighed, and weights are recorded. Data are reported as the mean biomass and standard error of the 3 plots (n=3). |
