EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN AND METHODS:

Animal and plant collections occurred along a transect from the Greenwood Creek outfall pipe to the mouth of Greenwood Creek on the Ipswich River, approximately 2 kilometers downstream. Tissues of animals and plants were dissected, dried, checked for carbonate contamination and analyzed at the Marine Biological Lb, Ecosystems Center Stable Isotope Lab.
