Climate

A meteorological station was installed in the Plum Island Sound watershed during the spring of 2000 on the grounds of the Governor Dummer Academy, South Byfield, MA. The station was moved on July 30, 2007 appproximately 1/2 mile away to the MBL Marshview Farm Field Station in Newbury, MA. The station measures and records temperature, precipitation, humidity, wind speed and direction, pressure, and solar radiation. For near real-time data, click here.
