COMMUNITY SERVICE

I serve on the board of directors of several community groups dedicated to protection of the Cape Cod Environment.

The Association to Preserve Cape Cod promotes policies and programs that preserve open space, protect water resources and promote responsible planned growth.

The Coonamessett River Trust works to protect and restore Falmouth’s Coonamessett River, its fisheries and its adjoining lands.

The Association Concerned with Estuaries and Salt Ponds is a coalition of neighborhood associations that promote actions to reverse the nitrogen loading that degrades coastal waters.

I also write a monthly column on ecology and conservation for the Enterprise, a newspaper in Falmouth, Massachusetts.
