BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DATA FILE: Decomposition data for tall-form Spartina alterniflora on both branches of all four creeks.

EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN AND METHODS:  Belowground litter bags with approximately 10 g of dried Spartina alterniflora were deployed in the TSA zone of the above mentioned branch/transect in all four creeks. Five litter bags were deployed on 31-May-2005 at each creek branch. At 2 week, 1 month, 2 month, 3 month, 4 month and 1 year intervals a single litter bag was recovered from each creek branch. Recovered litter was washed, oven dried and weighed to calculate % weight loss.
