EXPERIMENTAL DESIGN AND METHODS: Measurements taken with a YSI water quality sonde with internal datalogging capabilities deployed at a fixed station in mid-channel, approximately 10cm above the creek bottom. Sonde was programmed to collect data for temperature, conductivity, salinity, depth and dissolved oxygen every 5 minutes. Data collection began at low tide (around dusk). Water samples were collected for 24 hours while YSI data was collected for 48 hours.
