Data Directory

The data directory includes data links to various PIE LTER specific and LTER Network specific data. Additional PIE specific data can be found under the headings of Research Program Areas, Education and Outreach, and Physical Characteristics. Data have been undergoing upgrades to XML structured Ecological Metadata Language (EML) metadata. There are still a few older MS Word metadata files.
Upgraded EML metadata files can be viewed on line as HTML, Rich Text format (.rtf) or XML (EML compliant). Data files are available as text (comma-delimited) files (*.dat) and also as Microsoft Excel files (*.xls) which include a sheet for metadata and a sheet for data.
